Bearded Dragon's Reaction to Seeing His Image on Mom's Phone Is Priceless

There are cat owners, there are dog owners, and then... there are bearded dragon owners. Bearded Dragon owners have a whole different ball of wax on their hands. Just take one woman online who noticed that her Bearded Dragon was looking at her phone a little strangely. It turns out he saw something threatening in the camera — himself.

The mom was cracking up when she noticed that her Beardie Chuck was really getting heated.

The mom was recording herself trying to teach her Bearded Dragon to come out of his enclosure and into her hands. But he was a little distracted.

Instead of walking out into his mama's open palms, he noticed her phone in his space.

"Chuck has never noticed himself on my phone camera," she wrote in the video's caption. Which is a good thing judging by what he did next.

"It's my arch nemesis from the mirror!" she wrote, referring to the Bearded Dragon spotting his reflection.

"Did you see yourself and get upset?" she asked him in the footage.

By the looks of it, Chuck was ready to rumble. He zeroed in on his "enemy" and slowly made his way over to the cellphone.

"Imma sneak attack him," the video's onscreen caption reads. The Beardie slowly made his way up to the screen and then before you could blink he "attacked" the phone — twice!

"Sneak attack!" the video's onscreen caption reads.

Commenters were laughing so hard at Chuck and his "nemesis." "Ma'am your pet dragon tried to eat me," joked one person. "He’s adorable. Not even mad he tried to eat me whole," someone else teased. "I don't know who you are or how you got here but this place ain't big enough…" a third commenter joked.

Do Bearded Dragons Make Good Pets?

As long as you aren't a Beardie's "arch nemesis" Bearded Dragons make excellent pets. They have easy-going personalities and enjoy being around humans. Bearded Dragons are also pretty sturdy — they aren't too frail to live with humans either.

If you are going to get a beardie, it's important to remember that these guys are totally fine living alone. No need to buy your reptile a BFF for their habitat. In the wild, beardies can live anywhere from 10 to 15 years. In captivity, they can live up to 20 years. Because of their long lifespan, it's important that everyone in the house knows how to care for your beardie. You want your little guy to live a long and happy life.

Just make sure to keep them away from any mirrors — unless you want to see their "sneak attack" for yourself.
