Bearded Dragon Who 'Waves Back' to His New Human Family Has Everyone Amazed
TikTok user @thestrongstyledmama's daughter told her that their new Bearded Dragon was waving from inside his terrarium. This TikToker was probably very confused as she didn't believe it one bit. Well, to be fair, we wouldn't have believed it either. LOL!
She decided to look for herself and see if what her daughter was saying was true. Much to her surprise, her daughter wasn't lying. Take a look at this clip which has over 2.7 million views. It's so incredible!

O.M.G. No way! We totally wouldn't have believed a little kid if they said a Bearded Dragon waved at them because well, sometimes they have big imaginations. LOL! Thankfully, they were able to capture it on video so we do know that these reptiles can wave.
Other TikTokers are commenting on similar experiences. "My beardie does this. It's a sign of comfort and submission," said @disabledbeauty. Aww, stop it! That's seriously so cute. @missfatality_710 added, "Yep, it's a sign of friendliness. Bearded Dragons would wave at one another to let them know that they're friendly and not dangerous." What?! It's totally true what they say - you learn something new every day.
Others are saying the wave is a sign that the Bearded Dragon is accepting his new family as the authority. @doesitmatter wrote, "This made me laugh, he’s waving like, 'You’re boss' and she’s waving back like, 'No you’re boss.' He’s probably so confused." LMAO! We love that he thinks the daughter is the alpha in the house. Soon she'll be running the rest of the household too!
