Bear Grylls Made Armie Hammer Drink Goat Milk Right From the Source

He may not have eaten the peach, but Armie Hammer definitely did drink from the goat's teat. The Call Me by Your Name star appeared on Running Wild with Bear Grylls on Tuesday night to explore the Italian island of Sardinia and, in the process, drink some goat milk straight from the source.

In the clip, which is blessedly available on YouTube, the pair are backpacking when they come across a wild goat. Grylls, being an experienced survivalist and also just a little bit nasty, sprays milk at the camera before telling Hammer to “get your lips around its nipples…”

Grylls and Hammer both laugh as if Grylls were joking, but he...wasn’t really. (“It’s irresistible not to play this one out,” he tells the camera.)

“You know, I climb an entire cliff, never done it before, feel a huge sense of accomplishment, we get up here, you tackle a goat, and now I’ve got to suck on it,” Hammer says, hyping himself up. “You know what? I came this far. I’m going to do it. I mean, are we doing this?”

As Hammer descends to the goat's level, Grylls consoles the animal by reminding it to think about how “there are many people around the world who would love this,” which is both true and a little upsetting to think about.

“I did it! I carpe’d the diem—like, it’s done,” Hammer tells the camera after the deed is done. “I just squirted the freshest milk I’ve ever had in my life in my mouth. I’m actually surprised—and happy—to say it was delicious.”

When Luke Skywalker drank fresh green milk from a four-breasted alien in The Last Jedi, he squirted it into a bottle before taking a big gulp and giving himself a verdant milk mustache. Armie Hammer went right to the source, so who is the real Jedi Master, I ask you?

New episodes of Running Wild with Bear Grylls air on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. Eastern.
