Beanie Feldstein's Oscars 2020 Dress Had a Subtle Political Message

Presenting at Oscars 2020, actor Beanie Feldstein arrived on the red carpet looking equal parts vintage glam and beautiful as she rocked a white sequined gown with black roses.

Affixed to the halter strap was a blue ribbon — apparently a nod to the ACLU. In 2017, many Oscars attendees wore them in support of the organization, which advocates on behalf of marginalized groups.

Perfectly paired with old-Hollywood waves and dangling diamond earrings, Beanie rocked her long brunette locks with a deep side part and voluminous waves, and she accessorized her ensemble with simple dangling diamonds. A smoky eye, rosy cheeks, and neutral lip were #beautygoals.

We can't say we were surprised that she stunned fans and onlookers tonight because her look at the 2020 Golden Globes was inspired, too. Rocking an elegant off-the-shoulder navy gown with an elegant headband and middle-parted hair, Beanie shone brightly then and even brighter now.

Beanie, who was Teen Vogue's October 2019 cover star, is no stranger to excellent fashion choices. From bold patterns and florals to glam sequins and rhinestones, her penchant for pops of color and funky prints is something we just can't get enough of.

Having starred in the hilarious comedy Booksmart (directed by Olivia Wilde) in 2019 alongside pal Kaitlyn Dever (*a member of our Young Hollywood Class of 2020*), Beanie is now slated to star as Monica Lewinsky in American Crime Story season 3, which will debut in September 2020.
