Baton Rouge moms can get resources, baby items at community baby shower
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Baton Rouge moms are invited to a community baby shower event offering resources and baby items.
The shower focusing on the importance of health and wellness of expecting mothers is set for 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 9 at Southern University Maurice Edmund Livestock Arena, located at 14600 Scenic Highway in Baton Rouge.
EBR Schools wants feedback from community, students in search for new superintendent
The free event will give mothers educational, health and wellness information. A light meal will be served to the mothers-to-be and there will be a variety of games, prizes, baby items and community resources.
The first 100 women to register will get gift bags with items for a mother’s self-care and infant needs. More giveaways from area donors and co-sponsors will be given as door prizes.
