Batman Return Ruled Out By George Clooney

You should probably give up hope of ever seeing George Clooney as Batman again.
The actor, who reprised his role for a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo in June 2023’s The Flash, says it’s the last time you’ll see him as the DC icon.
"I do not think there’s enough drugs in the world for me to go back,” Clooney told Entertainment Tonight.

Before The Flash, Clooney’s last appearance as the Caped Crusader was in 1997's Batman and Robin.
While the DCU is resetting following the December 2023 release of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Clooney is adamant that universe won’t include him - not even with The Batman director having "more stories" coming.
Even Robert Pattinson’s Batman isn’t part of DC co-CEO James Gunn’s plans, since his take on the character belongs to spinoff DC universe Elseworlds.
That means the door is open for a new Batman to take on the mantle in the new-look DCU for 2024 and beyond.
