These Bars Are Like Boozy Fla-Vor-Ice Pops And Are Packed With Vodka And Rum
Even if you don't know the name Fla-Vor-Ice, you know what they are. They're those delightful little tubes of icey and sugary goodness you probably had bags on bags of in the freezer as a kid...or still have now. Now, the brand behind those beloved pops is coming out with new, boozy ice pops so you might want to clear some space.
The Jel Sert Company, which also makes the popular Otter Pops ice pops, recently announced it was launching a new product called SLIQ Spirited Ice. These will essentially boozy ice pops in similar tubes to Fla-Vor-Ice so you can take them to the pool, to a cook-out, or literally wherever.
These pops will come in three different varieties of alcohol, according to a press release, including Vodka infused Spirited Ice in Lemonade, Cranberry & Grapefruit, and Blue Raspberry, as well as Rum infused Spirited Ice in Strawberry Daiquiri, Coconut & Lime Daiquiri, and Pineapple Daiquiri. Yes, these are ice pops that taste like a freakin' STRAWBERRY DAIQUIRI!
If that wasn't enough to get you to add these to your summer bucket list, you should also know that they're all 100 calories or less and come in at a very respectable 8% ABV. That makes them perfect for enjoying casually or putting inside of another cocktail as a little bit of added (responsible!) fun.
The only catch here is we don't know exactly where these will be popping up yet. They're due for a summer release, but we reached out to Jel Sert to find out where exactly you can look for them. All we know is we cannot wait for warm weather and ice pops, boozy or otherwise!
