Throughout her lengthy career, Barbra Streisand has had many footwear moments on red carpets and public events in Hollywood. Streisand’s personal footwear collection covers a wide range of styles and silhouettes, including strappy sandals, peep-toe pumps and knee-high boots.
Ahead of the actress receiving a Life Achievement award during the 2024 SAG Awards on Feb. 24, FN has compiled some images of Streisand’s most iconic footwear moments to date.

Barbra Streisand, 1966
In the 1960s, Streisand often wore lace-up knee-high boots similar to the pair pictured above. A popular style of the time, the shoes featured a small kitten heel, rounded toe and lace-up detail that extended from the front of the foot to the top of the shoe.
Barbra Streisand, 1969
On the set of “On a Clear Day You Can See Forever,” Streisand wore a pair of knee-high square-toe leather boots. Made of soft black leather and adorned with an estimated 3-inch block heel, the boots were a staple for Streisand and can be seen in many photographs of the actress from the late 1960s.

Streisand sported a pair of strappy open-toed sandals while walking the red carpet during the 2004 “Meet the Fockers” Los Angeles premiere. The heels, adorned with a sparkling front cross-strap detail, featured a square toe and an estimated 2-inch stiletto heel.

While attending the Natural Resources Defense Council’s Ocean Initiative Benefit, Streisand wore a pair of black boots adorned with a glitter toe cap and block heel. The René Caovilla boots, raised at an estimated 4 inches, were only partially visible beneath the star’s wide-leg black pants.

Streisand attended Glamour’s 23rd annual Women of the Year awards while sporting a pair of Jimmy Choo black suede sandals. The heels, adorned with a silver and black peep-toe detail, featured a 3-inch stiletto heel.

To the 70th Annual Tony Awards, Streisand wore a pair of Suwny satin crystal buckle sandals from Manolo Blahnik. The peep-toe heels, elevated at an estimated 5 inches, were adorned with four diamond-encrusted square buckles along the length of the foot.
