Barbie Ferreira might have a brief vacation from filming the second season of Euphoria, but she's not exactly keeping her calendar clear. Fresh off her debut in a series of videos for Torrid, the actor has been selected as the newest face of Becca Cosmetics.
Barbie shared news of her next chapter on Instagram, writing of her excitement to be selected as the latest spokesperson for the brand. "The becca liquid highlight was the first highlighter I ever bought back when I was serving dark blue smokey eyes in high school and spending hours on youtube looking up how to make fake scars with spirit gum," the actor wrote.
Sharing a photograph of herself that featured her serving some serious glow (courtesy of Becca's Moonstone Pressed Highlight, ofc) and rocking a pink barrette, she went on to detail how makeup has personally impacted her. "Makeups been such a huge part of my life and this moment couldn’t be more special," she wrote. "I [couldn't] be more thrilled to do this with a brand [I've] used religiously since the start of my love for makeup!!"
According to Refinery 29, Barbie's role as spokesperson will have the star featured in upcoming campaigns, but she also plans to work with the company on more inclusive casting. "For years, I was part of 'inclusive' campaigns that didn't exactly put their money where their mouth is," Barbie told Refinery 29. "I am so happy to have my friends, who are from all different walks of life, representing who wears makeup; it's not just women and it's not just what we're used to seeing from makeup brands, which is usually a pretty not-inclusive shade range or casting."
Additionally, Barbie will also help further promote Becca's recently announced partnership with The Jed Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on improving the mental health of teenagers. Refinery 29 reports that more details regarding Barbie's role in promoting Becca's work with Jed will be announced soon.
