If you are a citizen of the United States and of the internet, then you know former president Barack Obama frequently puts out lists highlighting his favorite reads and favorite tunes. Now, Obama is sharing his personal watchlist for 2020. And let’s just say he has some good taste.

Namely, Obama is a fan of Amazon Prime superhero series The Boys. I mean, aren’t we all?

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Obama named some of his favorite television shows he puts on “when [he] needs a break.”

“Better Call Saul, because of its great characters and examination of the dark side of the American dream,” Obama told EW. “The Good Place — it’s a wise and sweet combination of goofy comedy and big philosophical questions. And Watchmen and The Boys, for how they turn superhero conventions on their heads to lay bare issues of race, capitalism, and the distorting effects of corporate power and mass media. Oh, and the NBA playoffs—because it’s hoops!”

Those are some pretty solid recommendations with some comprehensive reasoning behind them—especially "because it's hoops."

Now, receiving the presidential seal of approval is undoubtedly impressive. And, upon hearing the news, The Boys cast and creators aren't playing it cool in the slightest.

“Ummm. You guys? HOLY. SHIT,” The Boys creator Eric Kripke wrote on Twitter. “Thanks for watching, @BarackObama. If you ever wanna hang out, hit me up in my DMs. (But seriously, this is amazing. THANKS for the shout out.)”

Actor Jack Quaid, who plays Hughie Campbell in The Boys, also wrote on Twitter, “I was today years old when I found out president ⁦@BarackObama watches ⁦@TheBoysTV⁩. Can I stay this age forever?”

As if it wasn't already apparent, actor Antony Starr, who plays Homelander in the series, tweeted that The Boys crew “geeked out” when first hearing of the high praise. Starr simply added, “If The Boys is good enough for Obama...it’s good enough.”

Well, he certainly ain’t wrong.
