Mandy Moore’s new haircut is totally bangin’.

This week, the 39-year-old actress posted a photo of her brand-new hairstyle on her personal Instagram account. The pictures confirmed that Moore has chopped her long brown hair in a style that’s reminiscent of Rebecca Pearson in This Is Us. She even added wispy bangs that frame her face.

Moore announced the haircut news by sharing a slideshow of images on social media. Friends and family shared supportive messages in the comments section—like her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, who wrote, “It looks so incredible.”

A fan added, “Is this how I end up with bangs on Wednesday?” Someone even compared the style to Rebecca Pearson, writing, “Giving me This is Us season 1 vibes [heart-eye emoji].” And another mentioned Anna Foster: “The second picture is giving me Chasing Liberty vibes. Stunning as always.”

In the caption, Moore revealed that the haircut was a long time coming. She wrote, “I’ve been itching for a hair change for a loooooong time and lucky for me, my sweetest @streicherhair was in town and fit me in. Love you, Ash. And never mad at a @cithomps visit too!!”

Moore has been rocking her dark brunette hair color for quite some time, but her hair hasn’t been this short in a while. Earlier this month, the actress posted a selfie featuring her long locks. While she had short pieces around her face, she didn’t have bangs like she does now.
