Reports say that The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes remained dominant at the box office over Thanksgiving.

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes had a budget of $100 million before marketing costs and domestic earnings hit $100 million this weekend. Deadline reports that overseas earnings have also matched that, leading to a total of $200 million on its 11th day of release.

It stayed top of the box office over the weekend, beating new releases, Ridley Scott's Napoleon and Disney's Wish.

The film, a prequel to The Hunger Games series, is based on the book by Suzanne Collins, which tells the story of Coriolanus Snow, who mentors a District 12 girl during the 10th Hunger Games.
