Bake Off shocks fans with most innuendo-filled episode yet
Any concern that The Great British Bake Off wouldn't replicate its trademark innuendo upon moving to Channel 4 was definitively thrown out of the window last night, with lengthy discussion of bread fingering and a rather phallic snail shocking fans into nervous giggles.
The rampant smut began early, with judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith describing the perfect method for baking a cottage loaf.
It was only a matter of time before Channel 4 turned #GBBO to smut. pic.twitter.com/CzLPn0i7KE

"Shaping obviously is the key point, because you've got to be able to bond the top and the bottom," Paul began. "If they don't, the bottom will blow off the top so the top will literally fall off. So it's all about making both of the balls quite tight.
"The way that you do that, the way that I do it, is to drive my finger right all the way to the tray underneath," he helpfully continued.
Prue then asked the question clearly on everyone's lips: "Do you flour your finger?"
A giggling Paul then replied that he "could oil it."
So Paul makes his balls tight by driving his finger through them #GBBO#bakeoffpic.twitter.com/xB01UXypbd

Prue: "This didn't get the finger treatment at all!"

Things got even dirtier later when baker Julia made a snail-shaped loaf that looked like something quite radically different.
Both incidents inspired bursts of hilarity in fans at home, who took to social media to express their joy, and slight disbelief, at the innuendo.
That is NOT a snail. #GBBOpic.twitter.com/0sg7be0QYI
