Wondering what's missing from your perfectly designed bedroom? This baguette light made from real, bakery bread. Yes, you heard me right: This bread light, hand crafted in Japan, is made from a real baguette and has an LED light placed in the hollowed out center. Each piece is coated in a resin to prevent it from getting moldy and decaying.

If you were thinking "Baguettes are great, but I'm more of a batard or croissant kinda person," don't. you. worry. Pampshade, created by Yukiko Morita, has an entire line of carb-friendly lamps for you to choose from including a petit, coupe, champignon, croissant, boule, or toast lamp.

Each Pampshade is made by hand, making them truly unique. "Because all bread has different shapes and textures, you cannot mass-produce it using machines. I always make bread one by one with my own hands taking bread types, humidity and temperature into consideration," the website says.

The creator, Morita, says she tries to use bread from bakeries that go unsold, and as for the insides that get scraped out to make the hollow lamp? "We Eat the Inside of the Bread we use," the website says. How do we get the job as resident bread-eater? LMK.

The baguette lamp (our personal fave) retails for $249 while the batard goes for $229. The smallest bread light, petit bread light, goes for $75. Each lamp is made from bread flour, cake flour, salt, yeast, LEDs, and batteries.
