Ashley Benson and G-Eazy may not have been one of the many celebrity couples that split up in 2020, but they're currently paving the way for all the dissolved high-profile relationships that are to come in 2021. Case in point: According to E! News and Page Six, Ashley and G-Eazy have broken up after nine months of dating. Ho hum.

The news of G-Eazy and Ashley's break up comes after fans noticed that she unfollowed him on Instagram, which prompted speculation that they had gone their separate ways. Doesn't seem like things ended too badly, though, because Ashley was spotted wearing one of G-Eazy's leather jackets while taking a stroll with a friend in West Hollywood last Friday.

Things seemed to be going okay between Ashley and G-Eazy by the end of the year, especially around Ashley's birthday. For Ashley's 31st, G-Eazy posted the cutest message to his Instagram (and actually dropped the L-word!!!). "Happy birthday beautiful 🖤 @ashleybenson I love you to the moon & back," he wrote in the since-deleted post.

For the record, Ashley and G-Eazy's relationship wasn't supposed to be too serious anyway. When they were first spotted making out back in May, a source told E! News that "Ashley and G-Eazy aren't dating but are definitely hanging out and having fun right now. It's a good distraction for Ashley. They connected after working together recently, but have been friends for a while now and also have a few mutual friends."

"They are both funny and love being chill while sitting at home and laughing for hours," the source said, and added that their 'ship was "definitely nothing serious but they are enjoying time together right now."

In the great words of Queen, another one bites the dust. They will be missed!
