Bad Bunny dipped into the archives for his latest eye-catching look.
The "Tití Me Preguntó" rapper attended the pre-race festivities at the F1 Grand Prix of Monaco in Monte Carlo yesterday, where he hung out with driver Sergio "Checo" Perez and even got the chance to get behind the wheel of one of the cars. For the appearance, Bunny wore a look only he could pull off, nodding to Monaco's famous beaches in a vintage bikini-print shirt by Jean Paul Gaultier, circa 1995.
The collared, short-sleeved top was made of a sheer, dotted multicolored fabric, with strategic opaque panels in the shape of a bikini top and cheeky bottoms, as well as darker panels on the sides. The musician paired the shirt with a pair of sleek gray trousers and rectangular Gucci sunglasses with tinted orange lenses, which he perched atop his curly hairstyle.
The Grammy winner's fun look notably calls back to a similar Jean Paul Gaultier look from Kendall Jenner. The model and FWRD creative director previously wore an off-the-shoulder bodycon gown in a similar polka-dot print for an event celebrating Jean Paul Gaultier's launch on the platform. She accessorized the long-sleeved, floor-grazing gown with a pair of green statement earrings and minimal makeup.
The Un Verano Sin Ti rapper previously spoke about his fashion evolution in a 2020 interview, where he also teased the possibility of working on his own line in the future.
"It's one of my goals and dreams. I'm working on it... I'm focused on my music, my career, everything, so it's one of my goals to dedicate my time to fashion."
