Want to spoil your best fella (hello, Father's Day!) or your favorite bacon lover with something special? Consider this layered treat — starring candied bacon, caramel, and marshmallows. It tastes as good as it looks, and is just as easy to make.

Better still, customize it to his liking. If he hates milk chocolate, swap it out for all dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips. Not a marshmallow fan? Melted peanut butter would be an awesome substitute. Is he a vegetarian? Not likely, but you can swap crushed pretzels for the bacon bits, no problem.

One thing's for sure: You might want to give him some hand wipes to go along with this treat. Things are about to get sticky.

Ingredients:

• 5 slices thick-cut bacon

• 1 tablespoon brown sugar

• 1 bag dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips

• 2 cups mini marshmallows

• 1 1/2 tablespoons butter

• 1 bag milk chocolate chips

• Caramel sundae topping

Directions:

1. Make the bacon.

Preheat oven to 375°F. Place bacon on a lined baking sheet and rub all over with brown sugar. Cook until golden and crispy, about 18-22 minutes. Let cool, chop into tiny bits, and reserve.

2. Prepare your pan.

Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and spray with cooking spray.

3. Make the dark chocolate layer.

In a large glass bowl, microwave dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips until melted, stopping and stirring every 30 seconds. On a baking sheet, spread chocolate into a large rectangle, about ¼-inch thick. Freeze for 10 minutes or until hardened.

4. Make the marshmallow layer.

In large glass bowl, microwave 2 cups mini marshmallows and 1 1/2 tablespoons butter for 30 to 45 seconds until smooth. Make sure you use a large enough bowl because the marshmallows will expand! Stir and heat for additional 10 to 15 seconds if you need it. Spray spatula with nonstick spray and spread marshmallow over the hardened chocolate. Return to freezer for 10-15 minutes.

5. Make the milk chocolate layer.

Repeat step 3 using milk chocolate chips and spread over the hardened marshmallow layer.

6. Make a caramel-bacon topping.

Drizzle the bark with caramel topping and sprinkle with chopped candied bacon bits. Freeze for another 10 minutes or until hardened. When ready to cut, remove bark from pan and cut into pieces with a sharp knife. Keep refrigerated.

I mean, really, doesn't it look so good?
