Back On Top: Here's How Nyjah Won The WST Street Skateboarding Contest In Rome (Full Run)

Technical and difficult, trick after trick after trick...Nyjah Huston's winning run from WST Street Skateboarding Rome was fully loaded and packed with a punch.

No section of the course goes untouched as he glides from spot to spot, and hardly a second passes by without some type of banger.

He definitely knows how to flow across the course and piece together difficult lines. That's not everyone's strategy, but it works for him. And in this case, I'd say it worked well.

While there was a ton of great skating going down all weekend — from practice to the finals — there’s no denying Nyjah was in top form and rightfully secured his spot at the top of the podium.

Still, Sora Shirai (2nd) and Kelvin Hoeffler (3rd) were biting at his heels in the finals, each respectfully killing it all weekend and even pulled out a few surprises. Shout out to both of them! They weren't making it easy on the judges, that's for sure.

Since this was an official 'Road to Paris 2024' qualifier event for the upcoming summer Olympics, Nyjah claimed the top spot along with some important ranking points.

Will he keep the flame lit? Only time will tell.

Congrats, Jah!
