Clayton Echard is airing everything out in the open amid his ongoing paternity case.

In case you missed it, the former Bachelor was recently hit with a paternity lawsuit from an alleged ex, who claims they slept together before she became pregnant with twins.

After calling the claims against him "baseless," the 30-year-old reality star gave his social media followers a new update on the status of the situation. In the latest development, Echard revealed that he submitted his sample for a paternity test last week, while he was "just informed that the other individual took their test this morning."

"I feel like I’m talking you all through this," he told his followers in a video posted to his Instagram Story on Tuesday, Oct. 3, insisting that he wants to be "as transparent as possible" throughout the entire process,

Echard said he should receive the results "on Monday or Tuesday of next week," adding, "It’s either gonna be a yes, it’s gonna be a no, or it could be inconclusive."

Going on to explain what an inconclusive result would entail, the Bachelor Nation alum stated, "if there's little to no fetal DNA present, then that would lead to an inconclusive test."

“So, other than that, I have an injunction against harassment hearing on Monday," he continued. "But again, the results for the test itself should come back Monday or Tuesday. And, of course, I will let you all know the second I find out."

As Parade previously reported, the 33-year-old woman who filed the lawsuit against Echard alleged that she had "sexual activity" with the TV personality back in May, and that she "hadn't been with anyone since March of 2022" before that.

The woman, a podcast host from Scottsdale, Ariz., also claimed to have "offered more than 50 times in writing" for Echard to take a paternity test, while citing his "unwillingness to participate."

She also revealed that her twins are due in February 2024.

But in his response, Echard argued that it was the woman who "refused a paternity test," adding that he believes her to be "faking" the situation.

"My response is in the court documents. I'm not giving it the time of day because it's baseless," he previously stated about the case. "We did not have sexual intercourse."
