Bachelorette Hannah Brown Legit Just Sat Down On The CMAs Red Carpet
Bachelorette and Dancing with the Stars contestant Hannah Brown legit just sat down on the CMAs red carpet.
She said she had to sit down because her dress was so heavy, joking that it weighed "about 50 pounds."
Bachelorette and Dancing with the Stars contestant Hannah Brown has been killing it in the style department lately, and naturally she brought her A game to the Country Music Awards on Wednesday night. But, being the down-to-earth Alabama Hannah her fans all know and love, she had a totally relatable red carpet moment. Apparently, her dress was so dang heavy, Hannah needed to sit down for a sec. Yep, right on that red carpet.
Before all that went down (ha, get it?), Hannah shared an Instagram of herself and her Dancing with the Stars partner Alan Bersten standing on the red carpet, and she looks freaking amazing all glammed up. "We took a little break from semi-final rehearsal today. So excited to be celebrating music’s biggest night @cma. Tune in tonight to watch me present!!" she wrote in the caption. You know, typical celeb-on-red-carpet stuff.

But grab some popcorn and jump on over to Hannah’s Instagram Stories, because she’s got a bunch of behind the scenes info—and it’s hilarious. "I got my dress all right here. It’s about 50 pounds," she joked in a video of herself in a car on the way to awards show.
The next video is everything. "I’m actually sitting down on the red carpet because this dress is so heavy," Hannah said...while clearly sitting on the red carpet. "But it’s beautiful," she added.
Hannah then panned over to Alan who was standing there, trying his best to not look totally confused. "Hey, Alan," she said, laughing.
Hannah then shared a pic of herself sitting on the red carpet. "Yep, I did that," she wrote over it.
Luckily, Hannah recovered, because she shared several pics of herself and Alan looking all kinds of stylish together. She also shared a photo of the dress from behind, simply captioned: "the dress."
Yeah, wearing a 50-pound dress doesn’t sound fun, and props to Hannah for doing whatever she needed to do to be comfortable. But, total upside: Hannah made a bunch of best-dressed lists. So, while fashion hurts sometimes, it’s for the greater good.
