  • Bachelorette contestant Ben Smith was eliminated on Tuesday night after hometowns.

  • But a TikTok theory lays out some pretty good evidence that he'll return Monday night.

  • The TikToker also delved into Ben's Instagram for some secret messages to Tayshia.

Bachelorette fans everywhere were pretty bummed out Tuesday night after the ever-lovable Ben Smith got eliminated after hometown dates. Ben, if you remember, realized he was in love with Tayshia Adams but just couldn’t find the words when it mattered.

But a fan on TikTok is convinced that Ben's time on the show isn't over—and the evidence is pretty legit. In the video, she references a Bachelorette finale promo that shows Ben finally (finally!) saying those special words: "I've never felt this feeling, but I'm in love with you."

The trailer doesn’t share Tayshia’s response, because of course, but as the TikTok theory points out, Tayshia does get upset about something at some point in the finale preview. "There's a rose ceremony, what do I do with that?" she says. The TikToker believes this may have been a response to Ben's return and confession of love.

Not only that, buttt the TikTok theory points out something interesting about Ben's Instagram. He's been recently posting some photos with "I love you" in the caption.

Case in point:

Not only that but Ben has written "I love you a lot" in his Instagram bio. The TikToker believes this is Ben's way of trying to let Tayshia know that he loved her on the show and still loves her now.

But for the love of Chris Harrison, what does this all mean?!

Tbh, it’s really hard to tell. Tayshia did seem to have a real connection with Ben, but she also seemed incredibly frustrated that she couldn’t pull more emotion out of him. So, even if Ben comes back—which is definitely possible—it’s unclear if she’ll actually let him stick around.

Oh, and one more thing to consider with Ben's Instagram: He hasn’t written the standard "I’m bummed that my time on the Bachelorette is over" post yet, so…maybe he's back in the mix. In fact, his most recent post—shared on Tuesday night—is pretty (and perhaps purposefully?) innocuous:

So. Many. Questions. The first: Is it Monday yet?
