Bachelorette Fans Can’t Get Over Dale’s Reaction to Clare Talking About Babies

The latest season of The Bachelorette has already been a wild ride—and we’re not even close to the sure-to-be dramatic final rose ceremony yet. 

This week saw Tayshia Adams fully take the reins as the season’s leading lady after Clare Crawley stepped down from her role to pursue a relationship with one of her suitors, Dale Moss. (They’re now engaged.) But we’re not totally done with Crawley and Moss yet, as the couple sat down for an interview with host Chris Harrison. Things were pretty lovey-dovey, with Moss saying, “She says [she loves me] a lot. The feeling is mutual…. I love her with every ounce of my being. The most exciting thing is what we have coming up.”

But there was one low-key awkward moment that had Bachelor Nation buzzing on social media. “What is next for you guys? Moving in together? Wedding? What’s up?” Harrison asked the couple, to which Crawley immediately yelled, “Babies!” Fans thought Moss sort of glossed over her comment while mumbling, “Uh, really like, we’ve talk a little.…” Even Harrison laughed and called him out, saying, “Dale, you just skipped right over that. Are we having babies first, or are we getting married first?” 

“We’re going to get married first,” Moss continued while his fiancée said, “Whatever happens! We’re just excited to start our lives together and to get to know each other more and more.”

Of course, the Twittersphere had some (hilarious) thoughts on the matter. One person tweeted, “Dale’s soul fully left his body when Clare said, ‘babiessssssssssss.’”

Hopefully these two can get on the same page before any big decisions are made. But we can’t say we’re mad about watching them figure things out right in front of us on TV. That’s just one of the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchises’ many charms.
