'Bachelorette' Star Brendan Morais's Friends Call Him BMoney
Brendan Morais, 31, wowed Tayshia on their early one-on-one date on The Bachelorette.
He's one of Tayshia's final three husband hopefuls, but he remains a bit of a mystery.

Tayshia Adams is nearing the end of her journey as The Bachelorette, and has whittled the men competing for her heart down to three remaining suitors. One, Brendan Morais, got a lot more attention from Queen Tayshia right out of the gate. (Thankfully, he's been staying away from the drama between the boys.) Now, it's all about quality time on one of their final dates of the season.
The 31-year-old Milford, MA, along with Zac Clark and Ivan Hall, have a whole day, and overnight, with the leading lady. I, for one, am excited to see what turtleneck he pulls out for the special occasion. That's not all. He and Tayshia had off-the-charts chemistry on their one-on-one date and shared a real-deal connection. His friends call him BMoney, but tbd what nicknames Tayshia has for him.

Who is Brendan Morais?
Quick Bachelorette recap: Brendan went on the first one-on-one date with Tayshia. The duo went horseback riding and really hit it off, despite Chris Harrison's frequent pop-ins. They got plenty of QT together and realized how much they have in common. Oh, and who could forget their smooches under the fireworks? It was basically like a scene out of a rom-com.
Brendan's Bachelorette bio fills in a lot of the blanks that didn't make it into his screen time. His bio describes him as a "sensitive soul" who, BTW, is "ready to share his life with a special woman."
Family and becoming a father are important to him, too. Sadly, Brendan lost his dad at a young age. At that point, "he knew that his purpose in life was to be a father." Brendan lived in Los Angeles for a bit, but moved back home to Massachusetts to work for his family roofing business and to be closer to his family.
Brendan has two brothers and a sister, per Milford Daily News. He also "can’t get enough" of his nieces and nephews, according his bio. Aww! These little ones show up between his model shots on Instagram.
Brendan’s family has all good things to say about him. His brother Dan Morais says he's "extremely talented" in an interview with the MetroWest Daily News. "He’s obviously extremely talented and has the body of a Greek god. He’s obviously a stud," Dan told the publication. "What sets him apart is his humility—he’s a really humble guy."
What does Brendan do for a living?
He works as a commercial roofer. This is according to Brendan's official Bachelorette profile. Random factoid, right? Well, not really. You see, Tayshia’s ex-husband Josh Bourelle is a roofer and even owns his own roofing company, D&J Roofing. So, Tayshia knows how to talk shop.
And apparently, Brendan is good at the family biz. He’s a meticulous roofer, his older brother Dan Morais told the Milford Daily News.
He’s also a model and actor. Brendan’s Instagram is packed with model-y pics, and it’s not just for fun: He’s represented by two agencies, NEMG and Maggie Agency. According to his modeling portfolios, he’s modeled for big brands like New Balance, Jeep, and JoS. A. Bank.
He’s also acted a little—his IMDb profile has three credits for him, all from 2017. Brendan appeared in two shorts (Chances and Ace of Spades) as well as the adventure-comedy film Get Rich Free.

What's Brendan's relationship history?
Like Tayshia, Brendan has been married before. There aren’t a lot of details about this, but Bachelorette spoilers blogger Reality Steve says that Brendan’s divorce was finalized about a year ago.
He speculates that the recent split becomes a factor in his current relationship with Tayshia.
What else should I know about Brendan? For starters, he loves basketball.
Brendan coaches a high school basketball team and "loves" working out, his bio says. He played basketball when he was in high school and was team captain and MVP his senior year. Then, he went on to play for the Mass Bay Community College team. His sophomore year, the team went to the National Junior College Athletic Association’s national tournament and made it to the Elite 8, per Milford Daily News.
Brendan brought in a hoop to play with Tayshia, too.
Brendan is also super into turtlenecks.
Random but true: His Bachelorette bio says turtlenecks are Brendan’s "signature look." Turtlenecks are so key to his look, Brendan brought at least one to Palm Springs.
He hasn't been rockin' that too much this season, though, likely because it is H-O-T.

What happens with Tayshia and Brendan's relationship, and do they get engaged?
Tayshia falls hard for Brendan, and he's a frontrunner throughout her season. Details are a little scarce, but Reality Steve says that Tayshia fell in love with Brendan. You know he made it to the final three alongside Zac Clark and Ivan Hall. But, he decided to leave the show before their overnight date. "By all accounts, Brendan is who Tayshia wanted," Steve said. "And when he left, she was pretty distraught but still ended up picking somebody." It’s unclear why, exactly, Brendan left, but it may have had something to do with his recent divorce.
Reality Steve updated his finale spoilers with more details on Brendan: "Brendan has the last overnight. During the day portion, they try on rings with Neil Lane and just look at an assortment of diamonds. This was clearly done to drive into Brendan’s head and make him uneasy about possibly proposing in a few days."
At night, Brendan eliminates himself. He said he thought he was ready for an engagement, but realizes he’s still broken from his divorce. He leaves.
Tayshia does end up handing out her final rose. Zac C. is the lucky recipient, but they do not get engaged. Could it be that she's still pining for Brendan...? Time will tell.
