This 'Bachelorette' Contestant Is Accused of Being the Worst Guy in Your DMs

From Cosmopolitan

  • The Bachelorette contestants are finally here, and one of them is being accused of being overly persistent in this woman's Instagram DMs.

  • If true, you'd definitely hate for him to slide into your DMs.

Now that Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph have made the commitment to date each other, it's time to study up on all the possible Bachelorette contestants who will try to win Hannah Brown's heart and secure #sponcon deals for the rest of their lives. Last week, ABC introduced 33 potential suitors, but one of them is gaining attention for all the wrong reasons.

According to a Twitter user by the name of Sam Smithburger, contestant Matt Dione has sent her several DMs on Instagram for the past two years even though she apparently didn't give him the time of day. She posted screenshots of what she called "consistent" DMing on his end, and they're bad, you guys.

Going by the timestamps, the messages spanned from January 2017 to November 2018 and ranged from "I'm not giving up on you" to "rude AF Sam I expect better from you" to "Sam not sure what happened to us but can we at least meet."

Ugh, when will people learn that vigintuple DMing (that's 20 times for anyone who's wondering) is not only extremely annoying, it's incredibly creepy and weird and so aggressive.

When ABC announced the contestants, the network said they "may be on" the show, meaning ABC could possibly give Matt A.K.A. the "brunette Toby from the office" the boot before it actually airs.

@RealitySteve, feel free to holler with any spoilers or if one of Matt's group dates involves dating etiquette classes!
