Bachelorette Clare Crawley’s Season 16 Contestants Are Revealed
They’ve quietly landed. After a turbulent season of The Bachelor starring Peter Weber, ABC softly landed and debuted the 32 men vying for Bachelorette Clare Crawley’s heart on Wednesday, March 11.
Viewers don’t know much about each contestant so far (quirky characteristics will likely come at a later date), but each suitor’s name, age and location—alongside headshots—are all on the official Bachelorette Facebook page. Most surprising is the age range (Crawley is 38) which is between 23 to 42. This means Brett E. of Provo, Utah, dethrones Crawley and Nick Viall as the oldest franchise contestants. New York City also maintains a strong presence with three contestants hailing from the Big Apple. One final surprise is the inclusion of a person connected to Bachelorette Season 15 finalist Tyler Cameron: his best friend, Matt J.
Clare will be tasked with narrowing the list down over the course of the next two months. “I never will give up for [true love],” she noted on the After the Final Rose special to Chris Harrison. “To me, even more so as I developed more self-esteem, more self-worth, even more so I’m deserving of it—as everybody is.”
