The Bachelorette Becca Kufrin Is Engaged to Garrett Yrigoyen
And the final rose went to… Garrett Yrigoyen on Monday night’s finale of ABC’s smash reality series The Bachelorette. Season 14 lead Becca Kufrin was finally able to reveal the identity of her mystery fiancé after the finale aired on August 6.
After heavily weighing her decision, the Minneapolis-based TV personality, 28, delivered her final rose to the medical sales rep while surrounded by the calming and scenic offerings of the Maldives.
Yrigoyen was, interestingly enough, the recipient of Kufrin’s first impression rose during opening night at the Bachelor Mansion. This marks the fourth consecutive first impression rose recipient to win the season franchise of The Bachelorette, with Yrigoyen joining the likes of Bryan Abasolo, Jordan Rodgers and Shawn Booth.

Prior to narrowing it down to the winner, Kufrin heavily weighed her decision between Yrigoyen and runner-up Blake Horstmann. Like her ex-fiancé, Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr., Kufrin also fell in love with both finalists leading up to the defining moment in the Maldives.
“It’s gut-wrenching. It’s absolutely gut-wrenching,” Chris Harrison previously teased of the finale to Entertainment Tonight. “What happened in the Maldives, it’s beautiful and it’s brutal at the same time. It’s crazy to have [those emotions] all in one storm.”

BECCA KUFRIN
Kufrin shared the news of her engagement at the beginning of the season. On Men Tell All last week, she expressed her excitement about being more than prepared to unveil his identity to the world. “We’re just ready,” she said. “We’re just ready to be done, to be us in public,” she noted. “I know it’s going to be crazy when that moment comes, but it’s going to be so worth it. I’m just so excited for that day.”
