‘Bachelorette’ Alum Jillian Harris Revealed the Sex of Baby #2 in the Cutest Way
It’s an exciting time for Bachelor Nation’s Jillian Harris! The reality TV star staged an adorable reveal party for the sex of baby number two, and then shared the news with fans on Instagram and YouTube.
“My heart could EXPLODE!!!! Up next…a baby GIRL!!!!” Harris captioned a family photo featuring pink outfits, a pink backdrop, and even pink ice cream. Teasing fiancé Justin Pasutto, she added, “Are you ready for this!!??”
The HGTV host also shared a video detailing the day they found out they were having a girl. Harris and Pasutto hosted a pool party for family members, who took guesses all day as to what the baby would be. At dusk, Harris’ cousin opened the reveal envelope and changed the color of the lights in the pool to reflect the results. Harris, Pasutto, and their families stood at the edge of the pool waiting, and as soon as the lights changed to bright pink, they cheered in excitement — and some even dove into the pink pool to celebrate.
The new baby girl will join big brother Leo, who will turn 2 in August. “The manliest looks ur getting from us for now before we welcome our new girly girl into the family,” Pasutto captioned a photo of himself and his son in their best pink attire.
Harris first appeared on TV on Jason Mesnick’s season of The Bachelor, where she finished as the second runner-up. In 2009, she went on to become the fifth Bachelorette. She ended her season engaged to Ed Swiderski, but the pair broke up the following year.
In December 2016, she got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Pasutto. The couple revealed they were expecting baby number two just one month ago.
“We’re excited, you guys,” Harris said at the end of her reveal video. “Let the journey begin!” Congrats to the growing family!
