'Bachelor' Star Peter Weber Shares Family Photo Celebrating Brother's Pilot Achievement
Pilot Pete is welcoming his brother Jack to the United Airlines family.
Former Bachelor star Peter Weber was ever the supportive brother in his latest Instagram post, which he made in honor of Jack Weber's new job as a pilot for United Airlines.
Peter, 31—who began working for United Airlines in May 2021—celebrated his brother's accomplishment in a sweet family photo featuring their mother, Barbara Weber, and father, Peter Weber, who also flew United Airlines planes for 37 years.
"The Legacy is complete!! I'm so happy to welcome my brother @jettinjack to @united !!" the former TV personality wrote in an Instagram post on Friday. "I can't wait to fly the Friendly Skies with you Jack; I know we're going to make some incredible memories," he wrote in the caption.
Peter—who first gained notoriety as a contestant on Season 15 of The Bachelorette—followed up the family snap with a photo of a fan blade from a plane their father used to fly, which has an interesting story behind it.
"Cool story, the fan blade in the second picture is an actual blade from one of the 747s our Dad used to fly," he explained. "I was visiting home recently and wanted to see the blade for the first time. I kid you not, the exact second I touched the fan blade to admire it, my apple watch vibrated with a text from my brother saying he got hired at United."

"We are exactly where we belong Jack," he added in the heartfelt post, which included a third photo featuring the three generations of Weber men in their pilot uniforms. "I am so proud of you! Love you ❤️," he concluded.
Jack, 27, commented on the post, telling his big bro, "Let's go!! Can't wait to fly with you!!"
Even the official Instagram account for United Airlines added a comment as well, writing, "Weber fam 🤝 United," underneath the post.
Earlier in the day, Jack also shared the big news with a photo from the United Airlines Training Facility.
"I'm so forever grateful to everyone who has helped me along the way to get to this point," he wrote in the caption. "It's such an incredible honor for me to fly for the same airline my entire family has flown for. #Unitedforever."
Peter and Jack's father recently retired from United Airlines after 37 years of flying. He embarked on his final flight back in April, which the Bachelor alum was able to join in on as his co-pilot.
"Ladies and gentlemen, today is a very special flight for us here at United Airlines," Peter announced on the intercom during the flight, according to an Instagram video shared by United Airlines. "Our captain today is my hero and someone I've looked up to my entire life — my dad. I have the honor of serving as his first officer on his retirement flight today. This will be the most special flight of my career."
"This is a memory I will never forget," Peter said at the time.
