Bachelor Nation’s Tanner Tolbert Thinks “Poor Bastard” Peter Weber Had a “Rough” Time on ‘The Bachelor’

  • Tanner Tolbert, a contestant from season 11 of The Bachelorette, says Peter Weber struggled on The Bachelor.

  • Tanner (and everyone else who watched) wanted Peter to have more of a backbone while filming the show.

Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor wrapped up a whole two months ago, and it looks like he’s *finally* found peace! He’s in a happy relationship with Kelley Flanagan and could give less of a f*ck about what his haters think, but despite that, some people in Bachelor Nation still aren’t over Peter’s tumultuous stint on the show.

Tanner Tolbert, a contestant from season 11 of The Bachelorette, is now voicing his opinion on how Peter handled being the Bachelor. “Peter, that poor bastard, had a rough go, I feel, honestly,” he told Us Weekly. “I think he was just too indecisive for that role looking back it.” I mean, fair. Peter even admitted he made poor decisions because he was overwhelmed half the time.

“I feel like he tried to make too many people happy, whereas if he just focused on making himself happy, he would have probably done a better job and have a better outcome,” Tanner added. “Yeah, he had a rough go at it. I think guys like Arie [Luyendyk Jr.] and Juan Pablo [Galavis] are probably clapping their hands because it’s another guy giving them a run for their money.”

Welp, looks like Tanner’s thoughts on Peter seem to go across the board, because Colton Underwood expressed a similar sentiment and literally said, “I just would’ve loved to see Peter stand up for himself more and put his foot down,” in an Entertainment Tonight interview last month.

But hey, now that Peter’s with Kelley, I guess he doesn’t really have to worry about this anymore!
