From Women's Health

Just yesterday it seemed like there were nearly 40 contestants on Matt James' Bachelor season. Now, there are only four women competing for his heart, and that coveted final rose is mere weeks away. One of the remaining women is Serena Pitt, who seemed like she connected with Matt from the first time they met.

Serena clearly caught his eye, because she got two one-on-one dates. That valuable extra time with Matt seems to have paid off. Now, she gets to bring her family for some pandemic-safe meet-and-greets for "hometowns" week at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.

Here's what you need to know about Serena Pitt, one of Matt's final four women:

Serena is one of the youngest contestants this season.

Yep, she's feeling 22—making her the second-youngest woman competing for Matt's 28-year-old heart. (The youngest contestant was actually Kit Keenan, a.k.a. the daughter of fashion designer Cynthia Rowley.)

Her post-grad job is... interesting.

Serena works as a publicist in Toronto, according to her official Bachelor biography. But, according to her LinkedIn profile, Serena is actually an intern at Toronto-based publicity firm MacIntyre Communications, and has been since August 2020. She also works as a brand ambassador for a company called Cotton Candy Event Staffing. Sounds pretty sweet if you ask me.

She used to be a competitive dancer.

Serena isn't super into Instagram—or, at least, she wasn't before the show started—but she's got plenty of posts that reference her past experience as a competitive dancer.

Serena doesn't mince words or play games.

Host Chris Harrison said in a YouTube video announcing the contestants on this season of The Bachelor that while Serena and Matt seem to "have this thing," her bluntness could be a sticking point for them. "She always tells everybody, including Matt, where she stands, how she feels, what the score is," Chris said. "Now will Matt hear that? We’ll have find out."

It seems like he's a-okay with Serena telling it like it is, and her veto of tantric yoga.

But she seems a little inexperienced in love.

Serena has "never really taken the time to pursue true love," according to her Bachelor bio, "but now, this typically logical thinker is throwing her rulebook out the window and is ready to meet the man of her dreams." What's she looking for, exactly? She wants "a man who will enjoy spending quality time with her—whether they are having beers at a low-key bar or sitting courtside at a Toronto Raptors' game."

Serena is big into travel.

Or, at least, she was pre-pandemic. Serena has plenty of Instagram shots of herself in cool locations, including the Bahamas, Jamaica, and Budapest.

And, her family's been cheering her on throughout the season.

They made T-shirts and everything to support Serena on Instagram. Her mom wrote: "Although we have not been able to be together, we have definitely felt the love & support from friends & family. They say it takes a village and ours is pretty amazing♥️🌹" (Anybody else getting Zac Clark vibes?)

Serena also posts pics with her younger sister Talia on the reg. Her recent birthday shout-out was particularly adorable.

And, there are plenty of sweet snaps with her mom, too.
