Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham kept their wedding—unlike much of their relationship—relatively private when they got hitched in Maui on Saturday, Jan. 12. But that doesn’t mean that the newlyweds hid their Bachelor beginnings entirely. In fact, the pair invited several key players to be a part of their big day.

According to Us Weekly, Bachelor host Chris Harrison officiated their nuptials, held before a small gathering of their closest family and friends at the Haiku Mill. Also in attendance were Bachelor alum (and married couple!) Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici, who shared several snapshots from the fun fete.

CHEERS TO LOVE ,” Giudici captioned a series of photos from the night. “Congratulations to Lauren and Arie (and Baby Girl Luyendyk) on making it official tonight! So honored to have witnessed it and to have celebrated you (Also, have you seen this stunning of a bride before?!? ).”

Bachelor producers Elan Gale and Bennett Graebner also helped to celebrate the couple’s nuptials, as did another producer, Megan Firestone, who shared a precious shot of the couple kissing.

“These two are married!!” she captioned the photo. “To witness this was an honor… Beautiful wedding. Beautiful couple. Beautiful family to be!! Tonight was special in so many ways. I love you both and newbie on the way!”

Aside from the couple’s Bachelor family, their real-life families also got involved in the wedding in very meaningful ways. According to People, both Burnham’s dad, Dave Burnham, and Luyendyk’s dad, Arie Luyendyk Sr., spoke during the reception (their mothers spoke at the rehearsal dinner on Friday night).

But perhaps the highlight of the night was Burnham’s grandparents, who stood in as flower girl and ring bearer during the ceremony itself.

“The biggest laughs during the ceremony were for the flower girl and ring bearer,” an insider told People “Her grandmother was throwing the flowers first down the aisle, but then onto the guests. She was so cute and really connected with everyone.”

Luyendyk and Burnham’s relationship was atypical of the Bachelor franchise. The race car driver ultimately ended up breaking off his engagement to winner Becca Kufrin to pursue a relationship with his runner-up Burnham. The two ended up getting engaged during the After the Final Rose special on ABC in January 2018.

“I think we’ve learned how we solve problems. We lean on each other,” Luyendyk told The Knot last fall. “She senses when I’m stressed out about something and she’s really good about working with me through that. And that also goes with wedding planning too.”
