'Bachelor' Alum Madison Prewett Announces Engagement With Stunning Photos
Madison Prewett has finally found the one!
The Bachelor alum announced her engagement to boyfriend Grant Troutt on Monday. The couple has been dating for eight months.
“7.31.22. You were worth the wait,” the 26-year-old captioned a series of photos on Instagram from the dreamy beach proposal.
One of the snaps shows Troutt on one knee as Prewett covers her face in shock, while another features Prewett blinding the camera with her new rock as the duo shares an intimate kiss.
Prewett even teased what she’d look like as a bride as she donned a white, satin gown with gold chain straps for the big occasion. Troutt opted for a dusty blue suit.
Bachelor Nation couldn’t contain their excitement as franchise stars took to the comment section to congratulate the newly engaged couple.
Ashley Iaconetti wrote: “Congratulations!!! Everything is stunning! So happy for you!”
Hannah Ann Sluss, who was one of the final three women competing for Peter Weber’s heart alongside Prewett on The Bachelor Season 24, noted: “So beautiful 🤩 CONGRATS 🎉 you deserve it!!! 💍 so happy for you!”
"My girls engaged & im sobbing🤍🤍ily my madi-girl. He’s a lucky man!” wrote Victoria Fuller, who rounded out the final three on the season alongside Prewett and Sluss.
According to People, Troutt, also 26, planned the Palm Beach, Florida proposal for weeks.
“Grant was waiting for me and led me out to the beach, where he had candles and flowers and a Bible with my new name on it,” Prewett told the outlet, noting that he proposed with the “ring of my dreams.”
She explained that she had no idea the proposal was coming and thought they were celebrating a friend’s birthday.
“I was told we were taking birthday pictures on the beach and when I came down, my best friend led me into the bathroom where my mom and sisters were with the dress I wanted to get engaged in,” she added.
Prewett, who has been vocal about being a proud Christian, began dating Troutt in December 2021. They made things Instagram-official in May.
She left Weber’s season in the finale episode after learning that he was intimate with the other women during Fantasy Suites. Weber proposed to Sluss, but when he called off their engagement soon after, he and Prewett briefly rekindled their romance before parting ways one last time.
