Babysitter shares ‘one-in-a-million’ story after finding out who she babysat

In response to a TikTok challenge that asks users to share their “craziest, one-in-a-million story,” one TikToker stunned her followers by sharing a time when she was supposedly and unknowingly the babysitter for tech billionaire Elon Musk’s triplets.

In a TikTok posted on Jan. 12, Ai Yamato explained how she thought she was going to work a regular day as a babysitter to two children until her employer broke some news to her.

“So, one day, I went to babysit these two kids who I’ve been babysitting for quite a while,” she says in the clip. “And the mom informed me that the two kids were having a sleepover with three other kids.”

Yamato added that she was a babysitter for three days and went on to describe the children who came over.

“And the three kids who came over for the sleepover were triplets,” she says. “And the whole day, you know, they were at the pool hanging out and they’re playing video games — specifically Mario Kart.”

The TikToker said, fortunately for her, a parent — the father of the two children who were hosting the sleepover — was also present during the entire time, so she didn’t have to feel overwhelmed by the responsibility of caring for five children.

“We all went to dinner at Whole Foods,” she says. “These kids were very health-conscious at such a young age. I was expecting a Johnny Rockets or something, but they were like, ‘No, let’s go to Whole Foods.'”

After their trip to Whole Foods, Yamato and the children apparently went back home, where they hung out the rest of the day.

“So, the triplets get picked up, and the girl who I was babysitting failed to inform me that they were Elon Musk’s triplets,” she says.

The clip, which has since received over 1.7 million likes, has gotten plenty of comments from shocked users.

“Wait what?” one person asked incredulously.

“ELON MUSK HAS TRIPLETS?!?!” another asked.

“Tell him he owes you a tesla for babysitting,” a third wrote.

In a follow-up TikTok, Yamato admitted that she didn’t think her experience as a babysitter would get any crazier until she learned who else she would take care of.

“So once the triplets leave, I’m like, ‘Well, back to my ordinary, boring a** life,'” she says. “So the house gets a call later — a couple hours later — and the dad picks up the phone and it’s one of the girls’ cousins and he’s around their age — I think 9 or 10, at the time.”

The TikToker then went on to say that the cousin begged to come over to the home, to which the father allowed.

“And then, the next thing you know, [the cousin] is at the house and asking me to make him eggs and toasts,” she says. “And I was just having a casual conversation with the dad, and the dad was like, ‘Oh yeah, that’s the kid’s cousin.'”

The father then allegedly revealed that the cousin in question was actor Charlie Sheen’s son Bob Sheen.

In subsequent TikToks, Yamato praised Musk’s triplets as “well-behaved,” claiming that his son Kai “was very bubbly and energetic.”

Musk, the SpaceX and Tesla founder who recently became one of the richest people in the world, has been married twice and has six sons. In May 2020, he and his girlfriend, artist Grimes, had a baby boy.
