As we know, there is just something soothing about pacifiers that not only babies love but also dogs.
Dogs might find pacifiers appealing due to their scent, texture, and instinct to explore and play with various objects since dogs are naturally curious and playful. They might see a pacifier as an interesting new toy to explore.
The rubbery or silicone texture of pacifiers can be appealing for dogs to chew on. Dogs, especially puppies or younger dogs, might find the soft and chewy material soothing for their gums or simply enjoyable to gnaw on, just like a human baby would.
The baby's response is everything!
She sure was a bit confused and maybe slightly upset, but she didn't really mind it either. As you can see, these two are besties for life, which means they probably already share everything, including pacifiers.

Please make sure to wash the pacifier before your baby uses it again, or buy a separate one for your dog if it's obsessed with pacifiers.
Also, make sure to supervise your dog with a pacifier, as it could be a choking hazard. Therefore, it's crucial to ensure the dog doesn't have access to items that could be harmful.
