Baby Goose's Attempt to Fly After Human Picks Him Up Is Precious

As adults, wild geese don't exactly have the best reputation for being friendly. In fact, they can be downright mean! Baby geese, on the other hand, are still learning about the world around them.

As farmer and TikTok user @saraharris123 showed in a recent video, some goslings are just too cute. One of her feathered friends got to practice his flying skills as she carried him across the yard, and the result is more precious than we even imagined.

Just look at the little one go! Those tiny wing flaps are impossible to resist, but we just about melted when he tucked his feet in to prepare for landing. His instincts are totally there--he just needs a little practice to get this whole 'flying' thing down. He'll be soaring before we know it!

"He's gonna go tell his friends that he flew," said commenter @amphioxi. "So cute." We could nearly squeal with the cuteness! There's no doubt in our minds that this little gosling is ready to fly, so he'll probably be a fast learner when it comes to the real thing.

Canada geese typically teach their young to fly when they're between 2 and 3 months of age. Babies will stay with their mothers until about a year old, so this little one still has a lot of growing left to do. Hopefully, he'll be so fond of Sara that he doesn't inherit the famous goose attitude when he's older! Until then, though, the excited little gosling is pretty darn adorable.
