Welcome to Hook’d! Every Wednesday, we bring you insights, tips, and deals in fashion, tech, home, and more, via a rotating roster of in-the-know hosts. This week’s episode features TV host and beauty expert Sandra Vergara.

Sandra is always on the go, which takes a huge toll on her feet.

“I’m always running around the city,” she shares. “So my feet take a beating!”

To combat dryness, calluses, and blisters, she tried Baby Foot, the foot peel that has a cult following for its extreme results—and we captured the entire process.

After stepping into the booties containing the exfoliating formula, Sandra felt nothing and was a little skeptical. When she took them off after an hour, though, it was immediately clear that this stuff is strong.

“I had nail polish gel, and look, it’s done,” Sandra said. “So if you have nail polish or gel nail polish, make sure it’s old, because it will peel it off.”

Sandra's feet started peeling five days after using Baby Foot.

Come day five, Sandra’s feet began to peel. We checked in with her on day seven. “Yeah, this is nasty,” Sandra quipped. “So far, day seven, both front and back of feet peeling.” At this point, her results were pretty extreme. “On day five I took off my sock and skin flew all over, and that’s when the peeling started. On day six, the front of my feet started shedding.”

While the process is meant to take ten to 14 days for it to fully work, Sandra’s results were in after 13 days, when the peeling had subsided to reveal baby soft feet, as promised.
