Baby Bears Take Over Woman's Jeep Wrangler Like It's NBD
As nice as many places around the world can be, there are pros and cons to living just about anywhere. California, for example, has some of the best weather in America, but the cost of living is extremely high.
Horse, dog, and Jeep Wrangler owner @kynightfall has recently come to terms with one of the cons of living in beautiful Gatlinburg, Tennessee, but some people might even call this a pro. She came across a group of bear cubs playing on her car like it was a jungle gym!
As any animal-loving person would do, this Labrador and Golden Retriever owner had to film (and post) the adorable bear encounter. Don't worry--her dogs were nowhere near the chaos! She was also a safe distance away from the animals, so the Jeep was the only thing in danger!

How sweet! These bear cubs are way more concerned with playing and exploring than with keeping this Tennesseean’s Jeep intact, but who can blame them? A Wrangler is a nice car, and even these babies can tell! It makes the perfect jungle gym for these little cuties, plus plenty of places to hide. How will @kynightfall know when the coast is clear for her to get into her car?
“That's a bear inspection," commented @ronnieebsen1. "They're making sure that you have everything." LMAO! The way these bear cubs are crawling around makes it look like an inspection. It's a thorough one, at that!
Despite these bears' brown color, they're actually black bears. That's because black bears are the only ursine species found in Tennessee (just like in many other states). Bears often wander into residential areas, though it seems like bear stories are making the news more often this year. It's possible that the intense heat of this summer is driving more animals toward populated areas, just like the family of bears who took a dip in a Tennessee swimming pool.
Thankfully, most 2023 bear encounters have ended with no injuries, but staying aware is always essential when living in bear country. Can you imagine what could've happened if @kynightfall went toward her car and Mama Bear were nearby?
