Baby Archie Looks Just Like Prince Harry in a New Video
In a new video released to celebrate Archie's first birthday, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son looks just like his dad.
Of course, part of the resemblance is due to Archie's red hair, but it's more than that: the toddler has his father's smile and highly squishable cheeks. All in all, he appears to be the spitting image of Harry as a kid.
And as it's a video, rather than just a still image, we get a sense of the young royal's personality, too. He's clearly very curious, reaching for the book and trying to turn the pages, and even pulling out another book at one point—and then dropping it... twice. Quite the little rascal, actually!
And at the end of the footage, we see him perhaps trying to say "duck," or maybe just da-da.
The clip was released in celebration of Archie's birthday, but it was also created in support of Save with Stories, a charity initiative launched by Save the Children and No Kid Hungry in light of the COVID-19 crisis. Celebrities have been recording themselves reading children's books, raising awareness (and hopefully funds) for the Save with Stories campaign.
Harry and Meghan have continued to carry out charity work, even while practicing social distancing in L.A. The couple was spotted in West Hollywood delivering meals to those living with serious illnesses, and numerous recordings of their video chats with charities back in the U.K. have been released in recent weeks.
