We're seeing the impact the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes had in Hollywood as more and more people drop out of projects.

In the last month, Jacob Elordi took over Andrew Garfield's role in a new Frankenstein movie, Steven Yeun had to drop out of Thunderbolts, and now Ayo Edebiri follows him as she departs the project due to scheduling conflicts.

Lewis Pullman took over Yeun's role, and now it has been announced by Deadline that Geraldine Viswanathan will step in for Edebiri.

Viswanathan took to Instagram to share the news, saying, "thank you to my friend @ayoedebiri for being too booked".

Thunderbolts' other cast members include Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Harrison Ford as Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster and David Harbour as Red Guardian.

The film - which follows a group of supervillains recruited to go on missions for the government - will be directed by the Primetime Emmy-winning Jake Schreier.

Thunderbolts is due to hit theaters on July 25, 2025.
