Irish royalty has landed at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards.

Tonight at Los Angeles’s Peacock Theater, Ayo Edebiri—beloved internet princess of Ireland and star of The Bear—turned heads on the red carpet in a strapless black leather gown. The unique Louis Vuitton piece is one of her edgiest red-carpet looks to date, featuring a cinched corset bodice and a structured balloon skirt. To accessorize, the actor opted for simplicity, adding a delicate white beaded necklace and diamond stud earrings, as well as a classic pair of strappy black heels.

If you’re wondering, “Since when did Ireland have a royal family?” you’re not alone! While Edebiri’s Irish heritage may technically be nothing more than the product of a viral Letterboxd interview gone wild, it’s still safe to say the internet has crowned her today’s Irish people’s princess.

In truer news, Edebiri still has plenty to look forward to tonight, considering she is among the nominees for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Sydney in Hulu’s The Bear. This is her first-ever Emmy nomination.

Edebiri recently opened up about being catapulted into the spotlight following her breakout performance in The Bear during a conversation with Melanie Lynskey and Sharon Horgan for Harper's Bazaar.

“It’s almost this thing that feels like your life is being reframed, like there’s something different between your lived experience and how people are perceiving you or something,” she said. “I can clock in my head that I’m going to award shows that I’ve never gone to before, or I’m getting photos taken of me where I’m all dolled up, and that hasn’t happened before. It’s exciting, but it’s also somehow the least-interesting part. The best part of it all is that I get to work on a show that I love with people who I think are so cool and so smart.”
