Ayesha Curry Slams Commenter for Shaming Her 6-Year-Old Daughter’s Hair

Curry refuses to "doll up" her daughter Riley for the Instagram trolls.

Ayesha Curry lets her six million Instagram followers into her world, and that, unfortunately, attracts internet trolls compelled to make mean, unnecessary comments about her and her family.

As fans know, Curry's feed is filled with photos and videos of 6-year-old Riley, 3-year-old Ryan Carson, and baby Canon, not to mention her NBA Champion husband Steph. She often shares Dubsmash videos, which feature her lip syncing with friends, family, (with the occasional appearance from Michelle Obama). On Monday, she shared a perfect post-Thanksgiving Dubsmash of her and Riley reenacting the classic "Meat Sweats" commercial. It was a sweet family moment, one Curry captioned with a nostalgic window into motherhood: "She’s getting so big y’all. I hope she’ll always love being silly with me. My big girl."

Plenty of fans dropped into the comment section to show some love for the cute mother-daughter moment. But as USA Today reports, one commenter jumped in with her opinion on Riley's hair."Lawwd have mercy, whyyy don't you know how to brush them girls' hair??? Drives me nuts!!! Still a love you, but [expletive] Ayesha," read the comment, according to USA Today.

Instead of brushing the hater under the rug, Curry did what Megan Fox and Kourtney Kardashian have done before her and hit right back. But instead of shading the commenter, Curry shared her own philosophy which (surprise, surprise) doesn't include curating her children's appearance for Instagram.

"I don't make moments happen for Instagram. Moments happen and I sometimes share. I'm not going to doll my children up for perception or anyone's approval on here," Curry responded. "If that's what you want to see then this is not the page for you. Real life over here." Her message is clear: Keep the comments to yourself, or hit that unfollow button.
