Nicole Kidman isn't the only big star who Jimmy Fallon blew his chances dating when he was younger. Apparently Kate Hudson was also interested in Fallon in 1999/2000, and he didn't realize it. And she didn't realize he had been interested in her then, too. She called him out for it during their Tonight Show interview this week.

The two acted in 2000's Almost Famous together and became really close. Fallon later said in a December 2018 interview with Margot Robbie that Hudson was the co-star he thought he could’ve dated but didn’t.

Hudson saw that clip, and told Fallon: "Can I just tell you what happened to me as I was listening to this? I was like, Jimmy has—I had no idea. Like, I wish people could be in my body to watch you and I’s relationship and friendship because you gave me no indication.”

Fallon started getting flustered. “I don’t know," he replied. "I felt like [I gave] a little indication. I thought we were good together. We were good buddies. We hung out all the time.”

“Jimmy, if you would have actually made a move, I would have totally gone there,” Hudson told him.

"No, you wouldn’t have!" Fallon replied.

"Yes, of course [I would have]!" Hudson told him. "I remember thinking to myself, like, 'Why has Jimmy never made like, a move?' And then I just kind of realized, 'Oh, he’s not into me like that.' I was just like 'Okay, well, whatever.' And so, then I met Chris [Robinson].” Robinson and Hudson got married on December 31, 2000 and stayed together for seven years. They have one son together, 16-year-old Ryder Robinson.
