These Awesome Headphones Adjust Their Sound Based on How You Hear

From Best Products

Minimalist sound-technology brand Even makes headphones that literally redefine the way you listen to music. Similar to how a pair of prescription glasses corrects and improves your vision, Even's headphones help to correct any imbalances in the way your ears interpret sound.

Here's how it works. Once you get your pair, the setup will guide you through a hearing test administered directly on the headphones. The test uses both high and low frequencies to determine a user's "EarPrint." This information is then saved to the headphones, which perfectly calibrate and adjust the audio in real-time, so you can hear as crisp and clear as ever.

The brand offers these headphones in a wireless over-the-ear style with a wooden effect (the H1, $199), and a wired earphone style with sleek two-toned buds (the E1, $129). We tested the earplugs next to a similar pair by Bose, and the sound quality and clarity seriously blew us away.

But perhaps the coolest thing about this technology is the impact it can have on people with hearing problems. On Even's site, you'll see plenty of comments from customers identifying themselves as hard-of-hearing, making claims that these headphones have finally allowed them to hear sound in a way they've never experienced before.

Even will also be launching the second generation of the H1 model this summer called the H2, but we can't spill the beans about it yet so you'll have to stay tuned for more details.
