Avril Lavigne and Tyga Fuel Romance Rumors With Steamy Smooch in Paris

The 'Sk8er Boi' singer moved on two weeks after her breakup from Mod Sun.

After breaking off her engagement to Mod Sun, Avril Lavigne said "I Can Do Better."

The singer found love with Tyga, merely two weeks after splitting from her ex-fiancé.

The new pair made their debut as a couple on Mar. 6 at the Mugler X Hunter Schafer Party during Paris Fashion Week. In a series of photos shared by TMZ, they are seen walking into the party holding hands, then sharing a kiss.

The hard launch of their relationship comes weeks after Lavigne and Tyga were photographed embracing each other after having dinner at Nobu in Los Angeles.

The pictures, taken the week the singer broke things off with Sun, show her getting cozy with the rapper, then getting into the same car with him. At the time, sources told People they were just friends.

Sun hasn't directly commented on Lavigne's new relationship, but wrote a cryptic tweet hours after the Fashion Week pictures went viral.

"I'm so grateful to have real friends who will sit on the phone with me for 2 hours. If you got those people in your life, do not let them go," he tweeted.

He also hinted at his feelings over Lavigne moving on in an Instagram post.

"I get to let it all out on drums every night," he captioned a Reel showing him playing the drums.

Sun and Lavigne first made their relationship public with an Instagram photo showing the "Karma" musician kissing the singer. "I'm so lucky, I love this girl so much," he wrote at the time. Sun then proposed in Paris on April 8, 2022—ironically, the same city where Lavigne revealed her new flame.

After news broke of their relationship's end, Sun confirmed their separation, writing on Instagram, "In 1 week my entire life completely changed…I just know there’s a plan for it all. I’ll keep my head up + always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken."
