Avril Lavigne is a 'Canadian queen' in latest punk photos from New York: 'A goddess'
The "Complicated" songstress walked the pink carpet at the Victoria's Secret World Tour in Manhattan.

Avril Lavigne is bringing a touch of punk south of the border.
The 38-year-old Canadian songstress took to Instagram on Wednesday with a carousel of photos taken inside a vehicle as she visited New York.
In the first shot, the "Complicated" and "Girlfriend" singer posed while sitting on one of the seats, as she dangled a wine glass in her left hand. Lavigne rocked an all-black shiny leather look, which included a long jacket and a strapless mini dress. She paired the fit with a matching studded mini bag, knee-high boots and a studded choker body piece.
Photographed by Tyler Kenny, styled by Lyn Alyson and glammed up by makeup artist Julia Dantas, Lavigne stepped out in style as she kicked off New York Fashion Week.
"NYC baby," the singer captioned her post on Instagram, along with two white heart emojis.
Fellow celebrities and fans showed their appreciation for Lavigne's stunning beauty and edgy style in the comments section.
"Canadian queen," shared fellow Ontario-born icon, model Winnie Harlow.
"Hottest rockstar of the century," one fan wrote.
"God, you're gorgeous, and I love you. Love from Brazil," another added.

Lavigne wore the chic look at Victoria's Secret's event on Wednesday at the Manhattan Center, ahead of New York Fashion Week, which runs from Sept. 7 to 13 this year.
The lingerie brand held its special event, which included a star-studded pink carpet, to celebrate the upcoming release of "The Victoria's Secret World Tour" on Sept. 26. Releasing on Prime Video, it's the return of the brand's iconic fashion show, this time a feature-length film.
Naomi Campbell, Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima and Priyanka Chopra were among the celebrities who attended the event. But some Canadians might be most excited to see Lavigne pose beside her Ontario-born sister, model Winnie Harlow, who also made an appearance at the event.
