Ava Phillippe, Reese Witherspoon's 22-year-old daughter, shared that she doesn't consider gender when she's looking for love. During an Instagram Q&A, she addressed a question asking if she had a preference. "Do u like boys or girls?" read a question box — and she reposted it with an answer clarifying that it didn't matter to her.

"I'm attracted to ... people!" she wrote over a photo of herself wearing bright blue eyeshadow. "Gender is whatever."

Elle reports that Philippe was dating Owen Mahoney, a classmate at UC Berkeley, back in 2019, though there's no news on whether or not they're still together. He last appeared on her Instagram feed back in July 2021 during a trip to Austin, Texas, though the photo has since been removed.

"The bats were feeling shy ... so here's a pic of us instead," Phillippe had written alongside the selfie.

Ava is Reese and Ryan Phillippe's oldest child. Her younger brother, Deacon Reese Phillippe, is 18, and Witherspoon also has an 8-year-old son, Tennessee James Toth, with her current husband, Jim Toth.

Reese recently commemorated Ava's 22nd birthday with a heartfelt post, writing, "Happy Birthday to my sweet little girl ... excuse me ... I mean my adult daughter!!!" Reese didn't share any news on whether or not Ava celebrated by blasting Taylor Swift's "22," though it would have been a shame if the tune didn't play at least once during the celebration.
