Australia's Only Lift-Served Bike Park Opens For The Season

Alright Australians, it looks like your summer is well on its way and I will try - unsuccessfully, I might add - to contain my Northern Hemisphere jealousy.

The "summer's back" bike clips are beginning to trickle out of the trans-Tasman bubble, but nothing solidifies the change in the seasons quite like the bike parks opening back up.

Speaking of which, Thredbo Bike Park just opened up for the season. Check out their ripper of an announcement with the one and only Jack Moir below.

Although it looks like Thredbo may have skipped "hero dirt" season, I'd still take it in a heartbeat over the impending doom and gloom of winter in the Western United States.

The only silver lining is that, at least in the Pacific Northwest, this is supposed to be a mild and dry winter so, fingers crossed we can ride all year round.

In the meantime, have whatever the Australian equivalent of a Modelo is for all your Northern Hemisphere comrades who would do anything to be riding bikes for another consistent 6 months.
