Australian Cattle Dog Shows off Trick That Should Land Him in the Record Books

Training your dog is one thing, getting them to learn tricks is another. If you've ever tried to get your dog to shake, roll over, or spin you know this is true. So it's no wonder that the internet was shook by the trick that one man did with his Australian Cattle Dog Han Solo. And let's just say it's really sweet.

The dog owner shared Han's totally cool new trick online recently. And it seems like the sort of thing that the people over at Guinness World Records should know about.

We can't imagine how many hours (and treats) it took to get this trick just right. But when you see the final result it really looks like it was all worth it.

In the video shared on the @heelerpoint Instagram page it shows the Australian Cattle Dog with cookies stacked on his snout, paws, and head — like a lot of them.

Now I don't know about you, but stacking that many cookies on anything without knocking them over is difficult. But to do it on a dog? Well that's downright amazing.

"The treat stacking heeler!" the video's Instagram caption reads. "This isn’t a record breaker for us, but these larger cookies are harder to balance with. More weight to shift and things can go flying."

Hmmm seems like a record breaker to us.

Beginner Tricks to Teach Your Pets

Your dog might not be at Hans Solo's level, but if you want to start teaching your dog some tricks here are some easy ones.

Get your dog to give you a kiss by putting a treat in your cheek and issuing a command. Of course, not everyone loves a big kiss from their pup. But the kiss trick can assist with unwanted licking.

Shaking paws is a classic trick that many dog owners try to teach their animal. It also is a pretty good party trick when you have friends or family around. It should take a few short training sessions to achieve and when it does your dog will love the attention it receives.

Waving hello or goodbye is another easy trick. First get your pup to shake. Then you'll use this same action to train your dog to lift their paw and wave. Another perk? It's absolutely adorable to see.

Dog tricks are truly the best.
