Australian Cattle Dog Who Acts Like a Cat Has People Flabbergasted
Monty, the Australian Cattle Dog, is a well-known TikTok pup, but not even his followers knew just how cat-like he could be. Aside from his pointy ears and love for cardboard boxes, he seems like a sweet and silly Blue Heeler! As his owner proves, though, he often takes after the felines he grew up with.
In a recent video on his account @montythecuddledog, his owner breaks down everything he does that seems feline. By the end of the video we were nearly convinced that this dog is part cat!

What a funny boy! We love Monty's chill vibe throughout every clip in this video, but nothing made us smile more than the sight of him perched on the windowsill. He definitely looks like a cat when he does that! The higher sitting spot probably gives him a better vantage point for looking out the window, but now we know exactly where he learned this trick from.
We've seen some dogs give themselves a quick lick to clean their paws, but Monty's grooming sure goes overboard. It makes sense that he learned that from his feline friends, too, though he'll still need a bath every now and again. Hopefully he doesn't despise water the same way a cat would!
It's hard to admit it, but we were a bit skeptical when we first started this video. Even @notpercyjacksonatall wrote, "I thought this was gonna be a joke but I’m convinced." Right? At first, we thought these behaviors were cute coincidences, but now we believe it through and through!
