Austin Pickle Ranch opening second location in North Austin soon. Here's what we know

North Austin is getting another premium spot for pickleball enthusiasts.

Austin Pickle Ranch is opening up a second location on Braker Lane in May. Unlike the first spot, which features eight pickleball courts built on top of a parking garage, the new Ranch will have 16 indoor pickleball courts and multiple indoor and outdoor lounge areas.

It will also have a court certified by Johns Design & Consulting, a firm founded by Austin locals and spearheaded by one of the best men’s doubles duos in the world, brothers Ben and Collin Johns. Having moved to Austin in 2022, the siblings have partnered with Ranchers co-founder Tim Klitch to improve the accessibility of the sport in the city.

"We have no doubt that the addition of a high-quality indoor venue with 16 courts will ensure Austin remains one of the premier pickleball cities in America," Collin said in a press release.
